Pay: $26.26 – $45.00 per hour

Location: Portland, CT

Hometown Garage is hiring an experienced Automotive Technician to join our growing team in Portland, Connecticut.

We are a customer-focused full-service repair shop looking for a dependable technician with strong diagnostic and repair abilities who takes pride in quality workmanship and being part of a professional team environment.

This position is best suited for an experienced technician with at least 3–5 years of professional automotive repair experience in a full-service shop.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues
  • Perform maintenance and repair work efficiently and accurately
  • Complete inspections and document findings clearly
  • Work collaboratively with service advisors and fellow technicians
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Deliver high-quality workmanship and customer service

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of professional automotive technician experience
  • Formal automotive training preferred
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation
